How much time should I be setting aside?

Weeeeelllll, that depends on you!

We'll meet up on Zoom for 75 minutes a week.

We'll do a 30 minute movement or mindfulness session each week (we'll choose times that suit this particular group).

Each week will have an article to read, a podcast to listen to and/or a worksheet to do.

Other than that, it's up to you! If you're a journaler, you might want to spend some time writing. If you're a talker, maybe you set up a time with a friend or one of your cohort to chat. Maybe you explore movements or mindfulness strategies, self-regulation exercises.

I want you to approach this in the way that serves you best. This isn't a one-size fits all process.

That said, to make sustainable change, to work on the things that will help you thrive takes a bit of time. I would suggest at least an extra hour or so of time per week to focus on what's important to you.

Journal, read, talk things through with a friend or one of your cohort here in Thrive, engage with the comments and chat here in each lecture, practice the self-awareness and self-regulation skills we'll do in weeks 1 and 2, ponder, create, practice, explore.

This isn't a one-size-fits-all undertaking!

That said, I hope this is important to you. Making sustainable change takes time and energy, so I would suggest at least an extra hour on top of our joint experienced time. You'll find a rhythm that works for you!

ZOOM Meetings every Thursday at 3:30 pm EST from Oct 22-Nov 26, 2020.
